I was having good luck with 1.3 in a multi-wan environment until today. When I logged into Pf I noticed that both of my gateways were listed as being offline. I went through all the usual troubleshooting steps and eventually found that I can no longer ping a gateway or other devices on any of my interfaces from the gui. I logged in to pf via ssh and ping works fine there. Anyone have ideas as to what may have killed ping? Is it possible that ping is actually working fine but the output of the ping is just not showing up properly in the gui?

      Regards

I noticed the same results (both ping and traceroute).  Seems the output is being suppressed or there may be a refresh problem within the ping/traceroute page.

          Does a reboot fix it?

Nope … have tried reboots, updates, etc ... nothing seems to work ... but as stated in the earlier post ... both utilities work from ssh (command line) session.

And a ping -c 3 IP from the exec.php page also succeeds?
