Wow, brought up new hardware for my firewall (bye bye obnoxious dual P3 dell 1u server, hello very quiet underclocked Athlon) and can I just say the transition was amazing. Backup config, install, restore config, swap cables, wait for packages to install, done.  The only thing that didn't copy over that would affect my users is the 130,xxx some odd lines from our spamd database. oh well, they'll have to re-whitelist, I'm thrilled! Excellent work as usual guys! On a side note I did test out 1.2.1 on the new hardware, which worked fine, and 1.3 alpha alpha which worked fine until I tried to restore my config, then it went boom.

Thanks guys for the hard work!

    Chris

      Hi Chris,

Great stuff! You say you where able to test 1.2.1 with spamd, where you able to confirm it working on 1.2.1 before you went back to 1.2, because I'm having a little trouble.

Out of all the pfSense features the spamd plug-in seems to be one of the simplest to configure and I'm not exactly a moron but would you give my post a quick perusal and see if you can spot anything obvious.

      Cheers

Never got far enough to send traffic through it to be honest, so, mine could have had the same issue, it appeared everythiing was right, but again, didn't get to send traffic through it.. sorry!
