Well, I've got my pfsense box setup (1.2.1), and I'm up against the wall for a project at work, so I need to optimize it for my setup ASAP.  Are there any gurus here that I can hire to consult on the setup?

Specifically, I need to have this network locked down airtight, allowing only for websurfing, email, and a proprietary file-transfer program that uses port 33001.  I'll email the exact firewall info needed for this program.

Also, I have the box setup with one WAN interface and one LAN interface.  I have two other cards that have been recognized, and I would like for these cards to have LAN connections as well so I can monitor the traffic for each card separately (so I end up with 3 LAN connections, with one feeding a switch and the other two connecting directly to two computers).  Not sure if pfsense can do this, so let me know.

I'll pay $100 for the first hour, $50 each hour after that if needed, via PayPal. ($50 deposit, with the rest upon job completion).  Please respond in this thread, or email me.

      Thanks.

      JB

Why don't you just go with http://centipedenetworks.com/.

They offer commercial yearly support. Why pay someone once when you could get support for an entire year!  Also they are not very expensive compared to commercial support for products like cisco.

Maybe you can get local support if you provide country and city information.

I'm in Los Angeles, but I'd be willing to use a remote session.  But I think I'll give Centipede a try.

            Thanks!

pfSense 1.2.1 is still in BETA and not appropriate for use in a production environment at this time.  I would encourage you, whatever you do, to use 1.2-RELEASE.

We also offer full support for pfSense installations.  However, I would give Centipede a try first.
