Bandwidth wraps at 4GB… How To get around?

Hey. I had a similar question in an earlier topic and I don't think I knew what I needed to ask.
I want to track my total bandwidth usage. The problem is that the counters in the Interfaces panel wrap at 4GB. I already know about banwidthd and vnstat, but niether seem to work. What I want to is whether the 4GB wrap thing can be altered or something so I can see the total usage since pfsense has been up. Is this it all possible? Does anyone know why they wrap at 4GB? Is it just so that you don't get huge numbers on there or what? -
The reason it wraps at 4GB is because it's a 32-bit counter and 32 bits equates to 4294967295 or 4 Gigs. What are the problems you are having with the packages?

You could also use ManageEngine Netflow analyzer with pflowd package. Free version allows you to collect flow data for 2 interfaces. Searching and reports out to pdf. Keep historical data for more than a year. Uses mysql. Only drawback is it must be installed on desktop or server. Looks like it even has billing feature built in.
