Upgrade from 1.2 to 1.3 Alpha

I tried this serveral times. I have built a new server put my configuration from my production server on it. Everything seems to be working well. I tried to upgrade from 1.2 to the alpha and the server comes up and can't boot after I have done that.

Has anyone run in to this? I have tried the on two different server class machines a clone and a Dell 1500SC.

I think you would better backup your config do a fresh install of 1.3 and reapply the old config which will be converted automatically.

my openVPN server with PKI dont worked after this upgrade.

1.2.1-RC1 built on Fri Aug 15 20:43:59 EDT 2008 to
1.3-ALPHA-ALPHA built on Wed Aug 27 10:37:45 EDT 2008 FreeBSD 7.0-RELEASE-p3

maybe it's need additional tuning?
"Status: System logs: OpenVPN" and "Status: System logs: Firewall" clear

I am not so sure but you have changed your operating system entirely so that key(s) at least must be re-generated, isn't it? I don't know if this is the case as same as ssh keys though… ???

OpenVPN in 1.3 is a moving target at the moment, doesn't surprise me. I don't think the config upgrade code is in place yet.
