Squid + Schedule
-
Hello folks…
Is there way to set PFSENSE Squid working with some kind of schedule rule... ?
I want it to be working only from 8:00 am to 12:00 am and from 2:00pm to 6:00pm.
Thanks!

I see that SquidGuard haves the TIMES support.

I was not thinking about use squidguard.
Do you know about some PFSENSE and SquidGUARD documentation? Thanks

I use pfSense-1.2 and I install squidGuard from pfSense package management. It's very easy to setup.
Note that squidGuard is a content-proxy (it differs from squid). It is based on squid.
I used the blacklist from http://www.shallalist.de/Downloads/shallalist.tar.gz which may takes you a minutes to download.

Did you followed any guide or tutorial to set up Squidguard?

But, do I have to install and enable squid package to get Squidguard working correctly?
Does squidguard runs in transparent mode?
I followed the tutorials that you sent, and I still dont have any site blocked.
