I would not recommend running that 6.3 based release anymore, use 1.2.1.

The link is dead, anybody have a link/iso of a full (non embedded) version of 1.2 stable based on freebsd 6.3? I cannot get our Dell R200 machine to run stable on 7.0

AFAIK there never was a 1.2 stable released that was based on 6.3. There were development snapshots based upon 6.3, but no release.

I see, well, that's too bad :( It's really a pitty that I can't get any pfsense version to run stable on my dell r200

Have you tried the base FreeBSD releases in question to identify where the problem lies (that is, is it with FreeBSD or the changes made for pfSense)? Have you looked on the various FreeBSD mailing lists to see if others are having problems and have found solutions?
