1.2 Install package Squid gid errors

I checked the etc/group but I do not see a group called proxy but one called squid … can anybody help ?

If the box isn't in production and/or you can reboot it:
Try uninstalling the squid package, reboot, reinstall squid package, reboot, then give it a try.

Box is production

From what I gather the proxy group does not exist, it may be because this was not a fresh install..

So how do I proceed ?
