Hi all,
I need the pfsense release version 1.2 that is built on FreeBSD 6.3 cause of my server hardware.
Can someone upload it? or tell me where i can find it?
The old link doesnt work :( http://cvs.pfsense.org/~sullrich/testing_images/6/FreeBSD_RELENG_6_3/pfSense_RELENG_1_2/
The ftp credentials are :
ip: eyewittness.serveftp.net
username:pfsense
password:pfsense -
1.2 is based freebsd 6.2
1.21 will be based on 7.0nothing more!

I thought I had the image for you as that is what we are currently using in production, but I guess not. Why, exactly, were you looking for this build as opposed to one of the new 1.21RC4 builds based on FreeBSD 7?
-
Cause i know that the 1.2 test based on freebsd 6.3 is running stable on my dell poweredge.

Does 1.2.1/FreeBSD 7.0 not work? The 6.3 images were taken offline because they had a problem and aren't upgradeable (without a little manual intervention), and that version will not be maintained.

You are trying to say, that version 1.2 stable is not upgradeable to the newer 1.21 v?
:-
what kind of manual intervention ? I'm happy user off 1.2 version with pretty long uptime… ;) If I decide to upgrade, will I have to do clean install? -

Nope, it IS upgradable. Only the FreeBSD 6.3 based version had a glitch. But it never was released officially anyway.

Not unless you want to. ;-)
One thing you cannot do, though, is downgrade to version 1.2 without a previously saved config.XML and a fresh install. -
