      Hello,

Is it possible to see the line-stats(like SNR,attu.,..) on my modem(wag) when I disable the router function of the wag?

I want to use only the router fct from pfsense, (now I used the wag as gateway on my wan port).

Do I need to change a setting on my wag(just leave on RFC 2516,right?)?
(my wag is using 192.x.0.5, pfsense 192.x.0.3)

How do I disable the router on my wag?

Pfsense 2.x on Alix 2d13 (dual wan with failover).

No you cannot see the physical line information on the pfSense.
All the pfSense can do is do the PPPoE authentication.

All your other questions are not pfSense related.
Read the manual / contact the manufacturer.

So I set a speedtouch in bridge mode and use pppoE on pfsense then to disable the router fct from te speedtouch?
But is it possible when doing this to have linestat's on the speedtouch?(because the ST doesn't have an ip then).

Pfsense 2.x on Alix 2d13 (dual wan with failover).

The speedtouch should still have an IP.

This will probably help you access it:
