1.2.1 broken?
-
VIA mobo width via cpu worked in 1.2. Now on 1.2.1 i can ping lan adapter but no connection 4 any client connected 2 lan adapter.

It's not broken. There is the possibility of FreeBSD regressions between 6.2 and 7.0 affecting particular hardware combinations. See:
http://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Policy_on_FreeBSD_issues -
false alarm or bug?! When i disconnect and reconnect cable on wan adapter, all clients gets connection on lan adapter.
Now I am using 1.2.2 on same mobo. -
Are those NICs realtek-based? I know that on certain Realtek NICs, if you "hot plug" the ethernet, the interface won't come back up without a reboot. Pretty annoying.

I have similar problems. I just 'mess' with things and eventually get it to work as I am sure you did the same. It's hard to tell whats going wrong when something does, reboots and stuff of that sort usually jar the problem free.

1 is realtek, other via onboard. I had same effect when i exchange wan & lan adapter.

I think "disconnect" effect is solved for me. I had it when I connect some clients directly to lan of pfsense or switch was problematic (after replace no problems). I am now playing width 1.2.2 but whenever I play width traffic shaper wizard I have xfiles in some points. It wasn't like this in 1.2.0 at least for my systems.
