Switching to CARP VIP kills WAN…..

Hi All,
Been tring to get FTP working from behind the firewall. I had originally set it up with a Proxy ARP Virtual IP and have since found out that I need to be using CARP VIP, which in its own right is cool apart from when I enable it it kills off access to the outside world. And with a office with about 150 active users they start complaining quite quickly.
Pfsense 1.1.2
10.1.0.0/22 Local subnet
Nothings else fancy.

Did you restart after adding the CARP VIP?

Can't try until this evening when the users go home…... no longer aloud to play with it during business hours... Will post back later. ;D
