I currently use Endian wall right now to run infront of our 3 mailservers and 8 webservers. Endian has been great but it seems it has been left out in the cold development wise. Basically the reason I want to move on from it is that it does not support not that I can see for banning of IP addresses.

So my question is does PFSense provide banning of IP addresses?

      Thanks!

You can create a firewall rule to block particular IP addresses.  Is that what you mean?

Well i was more or less not looking to create a rule for each IP i need to block, I could see this growing, what happens in a year or so, blocking 100 - 150 IPs, that is a 100 - 150 rules.

Does pfSense not have a interface to just add \ remove IPs that I would like banned?

Create an alias containing all your blocked IPs.
Then use this alias in the firewall rule.

We do what we must, because we can.
