Snort does not update

Hello, I wonder if I'm making sure to update the snort. I did register on the site, received the cófigo give in to make the download snort rules, but does not update. Has left the whole day updating and nothing. What may be happening?. already changed to the version of snort and nothing. Today I'm using version 1.2.1 RC-4. Please help me. :'(

I just noticed this same problem; did they change the snort file name? I'm a little nervous about the new virus.
Can someone check out what we need to do or update the snort package to reflect the changes?

The update script never works for me. The update file is 80MB, which takes a while to download, and eventually times out.
Recently I've just been downloading the update manually.

There is a possibility of installing snort rules manually? understand because it makes the download of the rules, but does not run, nor update. Tanks :(

I noticed that after updating 1.2.3 RC1 the snort install and updates are working great. Just FYI.
