Quality graph no longer updating
-
I have installed version 1.2.2 and have just a WAN and LAN interface. Everything was working fine with a simple set of NAT rules and using DHCP. All the RRDGraphs were drawing fine. However whilst trying to get OpenVPN setup I messed something up which caused the firewall to fail to load the rules. Therefore I did a "reset to factory defaults" and started again. I was able to reinput my NAT rules, DHCP settings and this time around correctly setup and test my OpenVPN config.
What is odd is that the quality RRD graph no longer updates. All the others do fine. I'm not quite sure how this quality graph is generated. A few searches on the forum indicates it could be the result of pfSense pinging the WAN IP. I've tried this and get a response, so i'm not sure where to start looking to fix this. I find this graph useful because i've had some problems where the Comcast connection times out and the quality graph was able to show me when the packets were being dropped.
Anyone able to understand what might have gone wrong or at least point me in the right place to start diagnosing this?

Anyone able to at least tell me where the RRDGraph information is stored on the local system so I can maybe run them manually and see what data might be being returned?

I found that the files reside in /var/db/rrd and looked at the timestamps…
-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 130760 Apr 21 14:51 wan-packets.rrd
-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 65672 Apr 19 23:14 wan-quality.rrd
-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 130760 Apr 21 14:51 wan-traffic.rrdIt seems that the quality rrd db is not being updated. Looking at updaterrd.sh in the same dir, I don't see a line which would update this db. Nothing seems to reference wan-quality.rrd yet I don't remember switching off this functionality anywhere. Anyone the wiser?

Deleting wan-quality.rrd and rebooting should get it graphing again- it will re-create missing databases on startup.

Acutally the updaterrd.sh doesn't contain any reference to updating the wan-quality.rrd. Is this update done in another script or task?
I've deleted the wan-quality.rrd but can't reboot until I finish a conference i'm presenting.

Reboot did the job, quality graphs now working. Must have been a corrupted RRD DB
