      Hi,

I have experienced ongoing problems with packages not starting - and in many cases failing to start even after reinstall and reboot - and now the problems seem worse than ever.

I have performed 2 reboots here now and checked and double checked and here is the situation:

The following packages are NOT restarted after reboot:

      bandwidthd
      darkstat
      imspector

Earlier I have been able to get several packages to start somehow using tricks like pressing 'change' in config page (even though no change is being made) or reinstall package.

Now the situation seems to be the following:

      darkstat
IS started after pressing 'save' on "Darkstat settings" page.

      bandwidthd
is not able to start, even after additional reboot, reinstall and resaving settings again.

      imspector
      is dead, same as bandwidthd

System is 100% and everything is working as usual apart from these packages.

So my situation seems to be that every time I install a package there's a 50-50 chance that the resulting installation won't start. And even worse, every time I reboot I have to be prepared that one or two packages are dead.

I am well aware that packages are not part of the stable core system and are optional add-ons, however, I am a bit worried about the instabilities I am experiencing concerning this (you know since I've mentioned it here earlier too).

I have also looked at /status.php but saw nothing specific that caught my eye, apart from the following under "DMESG":

      –----------
      Syncing packages:
      bandwidthd
      freeradius
      squidGuard
      arping
      darkstat

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /etc/inc/pkg-utils.inc(303) : eval()'d code on line 1
      phpSysInfo
      vnstat

      squid
      Lightsquid
      OpenBGPD
      imspector
      .

I have done nothing fancy on my own, changing or installing through the ssh, have always just used the GUI to admin.

Where and how to look for answers and reasons?

      TIA

I'm also having this issue with DarkStat on 1.2.3RC1

I also see the warning line about foreach().
