"-" character in alias names

 I'm in the process of upgrading my m0n0wall firewalls to pfsense 1.2.3 nano and would like to be able to keep the same alias names I'm using now. m0n0wall allows a dash character to be used in an alias name and pfsense does not. I'm not a coder so I can't add this feature myself but would really like to see this feature added to pfsense. Roy…

 You can not use the - in a alias name, replace with _

 Well that's good to know. I would like to be able to use both but it's good to know I can at least us an underscore. BTW, can someone please add an underscore to the list of allowed characters. Currently it list: "The name of the alias may only consist of the characters a-z, A-Z and 0-9" Thanks for the tip. Roy…
