Is it possible, that the last installers and Updates are all broken or was there a change which prevents installing on "old" hardware? I tried on a AMD K6/2, a Dell Optiplex 240, Asus P5P400 and VMWARE Fusion on Mac Intel as of Parallels on Mac Intel.
Nothing worked. 1.x-Versions install all without any problems on this hardware.

Installing results everytime with the error "/usr/local/sbin/dfuife_ncurses: not found" and a fallback to the menu,

updating results in multiple errors complaining "undefined call…", no netcard is getting IP, so no chance to get access to the box from outer space. (Most secure router ever seen ;-)
