I can confirm this behavior too (Alix hardware - embedded)

1.2.3 RC1 works fine but I had to update due to some ipsec problems solved in the current releases. After the update my pppoe started to drop the connection after a while and refused to reconnect so I had to go back to RC1.

        Can anybody post logs here?!

Can you even try disableing the filter at all, an option under system advanced, and see if it changes anything?

          ermal,

If nobody else can get some logs for you here shortly, I can setup a system on a test DSL line I have and get them. I just don't have a PPPoE system at the ready to work with.

It may be enough to copy/paste what is under system logs, anything starting with or mentioning mpd

              From a CLI/console, use: clog /var/log/system.log

That will print out everything in the log, and you could copy/paste that into a text file and attach it.
