What happend to rc.conf file

Want to manually add static routes. Used to do it in rc.conf file in Free BSD. Any ideas whet to add this in PFSense?

There's some problem using system, static routes?
If you really need some kind of hack, you can either add a <shellcmd>section to your config.xml or put a script in /usr/local/etc/rc.d/</shellcmd>
