I want that all the IPs given by pfsense should be static if mean if they restart even then thier ip should be same.

Is pfsense IP given bn by it is static and based on MAC address or it can change

In DHCP server it is possible to specify that a specified IP address be given to a specified MAC address.

Can you specify an IP address within the DHCP range to always be given to the same MAC address?
Endian firewall will allow you to do this in the web admin interface, BUT, then it will also give out the same IP address to another DHCP client.

            No.
If you put a static assignment within the dynamic range, the GUI will throw an error and wont let you continue.

On my home network, I have specified in DHCP server the DHCP address range as x.y.z.210 to x.y.z.219 and I have specified MAC addresses for each of x.y.z.201 to x.y.z.205 and x.y.z.220 to x.y.z.241.

I can't recall ever seeing the same IP address to two different machines, except possibly when I was messing around with the address ranges.

All the usual machines I have around are assigned a fixed IP address by MAC address, visitors get a "dynamic" IP address in the range x.y.z.210 to x.y.z.219.

Which is precisely why pfSense won't let you specify one in the range.

Good point, Jim.  I found this unsettling when I switched from my linux-based firewall to pfsense, but it really does make more sense.
