      Hey.

I'm trying to set up this scenario:

      http://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/HOWTO_setup_vlans_with_pfSense

Basically, we have a few wimax lines that we want to combine in a single NIC. The switch is a Cisco 2900XL.

I have set up the switch (this is the way you do it on this switch: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk389/tk815/technologies_configuration_example09186a00800949fd.shtml) and have tested that vlans are working on it.

When in pfsense, after creating the vlan interface with the corresponding tag i get an ip from the dhcp server. If i connect the cable to a different vlan i get nothing. So far so good.

Here's the problem: nothing can be done. Even though i have an ip address i cannot ping anything, nothing can ping the ip of the vlan and browsing doesn't work. It's not the firewall since i've already created an allow all rule.

      Any ideas? Thanks.

Can you show the switch configuration here? Also I'd like to see the pfSense rules and interfaces configurations. Also a simple diagram showing how you've got things connected would help.
