ISO build issues

Hi Folks,
I have trying to build an ISO under two FreeBSD 7.2 boxes following this procedure without success: http://devwiki.pfsense.org/DevelopersBootStrapAndDevIsoAfter './cvsup_current' the process stuck on:
…
/usr/pfSensesrc/src/usr.sbin/fifolog/lib/libfifolog_int.h.rej
/usr/pfSensesrc/src/usr.sbin/fifolog/lib/miniobj.h.rejTrying a different approach according to Scott directions:
cd /usr/home/pfsense/tools/builder_scripts
./set_version.sh RELENG_1_2
./apply_kernel_patches.sh
./clean_build.sh ; ./build_iso.shI got this after './buil_iso.sh':
...
cc -O2 -fno-strict-aliasing -pipe -DNDEBUG -c /usr/pfSensesrc/src/usr.bin/yes/yes.c
cc -O2 -fno-strict-aliasing -pipe -DNDEBUG -o yes yes.o
1 error
*** Error code 2
1 error
*** Error code 2
1 errorI'm attaching the logs. Is someone building successfully?
Tks,
Alex
cvsup_current_log.txt
build_iso_log.txt -
reduce -j parameters.
-
Where? Tks!
-
Using the RELENG_7_2 is working for the second option!

Hi Folks,
I have trying to build an ISO under vmware workstation following procedure without success: http://devwiki.pfsense.org/DevelopersBootStrapAndDevIsoecho "WITHOUT_X11=yo" >> /etc/make.conf
portsnap fetch extract
cd /usr/ports/devel/git && make BATCH=yo && make install BATCH=yo && make clean
cd /usr/ports/sysutils/grub && make BATCH=yo && make install BATCH=yo && make clean
cd /usr/ports/sysutils/screen && make BATCH=yo && make install BATCH=yo && make clean
mkdir -p /home/pfsense/pfSenseGITREPO /home/pfsense/installer /usr/pfSensesrc/srcrehash
cd /home/pfsense && git clone http://gitweb.pfsense.org/pfsense/mainline.git pfSenseGITREPO/pfSenseGITREPO
cd /home/pfsense && git clone http://gitweb.pfsense.org/pfsense-tools/mainline.git tools
cd /home/pfsense && git clone http://gitweb.pfsense.org/freesbie2/mainline.git freesbie2
cd /home/pfsense/tools/builder_scripts && chmod a+rx *.shAll went ok but after
./cvsup_bsdinstaller.sh
it says command not found -
This works for me:
cd /usr/home/pfsense/tools/builder_scripts
./set_version.sh RELENG_1_2
./apply_kernel_patches.sh
./clean_build.sh
./build_iso.sh -
This works for me:
cd /usr/home/pfsense/tools/builder_scripts
./set_version.sh RELENG_1_2
./apply_kernel_patches.sh
./clean_build.sh
./build_iso.shThank you for your advice I am trying but unfortunately the default cvsup.livebsd.com not responding since last night.
-
Hmmmm, I forgot to mention that. I have used the cvsup2.br.freebsd.org on as parameter on set_version.sh. You can choose another one based on your region.
-
Thank you once again.
I tried as you advice but this is what i get.
gmake [2]: Nothing to be done for 'install-data-am'
gmake [2]: leaving directory '/usr/ports/sysutils/grub/work/grub-0.97'
gmake [1]: Nothing to be done for 'install-data-am' -
Try to change the RELENG_1_2 by RELENG_7_2 on the set_version.sh:
cd /usr/home/pfsense/tools/builder_scripts
./set_version.sh RELENG_7_2 cvsupX.XX.freebsd.org
./apply_kernel_patches.sh
./clean_build.sh
./build_iso.sh -
I am trying to build a new one with the new instruction http://devwiki.pfsense.org/DevelopersBootStrapAndDevIso. but every time i build i get following errors.
