Blackout –-> ReadOnly Filesystem

Hi, i'm running pfSense v1.2.3 RC (from what I can remember). Two days ago there was a blackout in my neighborhood and all my computers went down. The next day I couldn't access the pfsense box from network, checking console I see that the FS is mounted RO and the interfaces don't have defined IPs.

I proceeded to run a fsck and doing a "mount -a" brought the FS in RW mode. After that, I did a clean reboot but the equipment starts with the same state, no network connection and RO FS. Any ideas?

Re-install and restore from a backed up configuration file.

That's what I did a year ago, I was expecting a better solution this time…
