is it posible with pfsense to make dual trunk
want to make a new setup with atom board intel server nic (single or dual) and a hp 1800-24g switch
one line between pfsense and switch or make it a dual posible ?
from the i want to make allconections (switch connect wan's and lan's)

I think you are asking if pfSense supports VLANs? So you would have one physical connection to pfSense with what Cisco calls a trunk that carries tagged VLANs. Then pfSense would have virtual interfaces for each VLAN and route and firewall traffic between them.

If this is what you are asking. Yes pfSense can do that.no i mean can i take two 1Gbit lines from the pfsense box to the 1800-24g for trunking or is this useless ?

You can't trunk(bond/aggregate) them together in this version. But if you have multiple networks on the switch, you can still have a 1 gig connection for each network.

Since the Atom board probably can't route even 1Gbps (mine gets about 300mbit throughput) with pfSense, it's only going to buy you a bit of redundancy and not much else. I think this is in 2.0 though if you wanted to try it. I think it's probably not very useful to you though, if you need redundancy, a CARP setup will get you much further, LACP would basically just get you cable run redundancy, which IMO isn't worth a lot.

do you have also atom 330 with pcie x16 intel server nic pt version ?

I am using an Atom 230 board with a PCI Intel 82543EI-based card (I think it's an IBM branded low-profile server NIC but I can't recall exactly). I'm really not sure how network performance scales with adding cores in FreeBSD (last I heard, it doesn't make much difference), but PCIe will get you an incremental gain at most. I still doubt you'll be able to do much better than 1Gbps with your hardware, if it can even reach that. There are many factors though, it really depends on your traffic profile, I just think it's unlikely.
