      Dear pfsense..

      something wrong with my pfsense,
everything is going fine for block and filter, if client using firefox.
but when they use IE, they can access to everywhere..it's look like squidguard is not block for IE ??

i'm using transparent proxy and squidguard..something wrong with squidguard ??

In Proxy filter SquidGuard: Default make sure you set allow for Default access [all] at Default destination

sorry, I'm not clearly understand your problem before…

are you sure you make your proxy transparent? if u still getting problem, try set proxy setting in your IE

Same thing for me. I wanted to try out squid and squidguard.

Opened only port 3128 on my interface, for the proxy.
I could only surf with proxy (because port 80 was blocked).

But I used IE and I could surf to all sites, playboy.com and so on.
I used the shalla list, and list was loaded/reloaded according to system log.

Took hell of a time to load it tho… Probably some processing being done.

Squid sees to work, but no life in squidguard.

Squidguard using IE8 or firefox works for me at 2 locations on multiple pc's without any issues.
