Vnstat not storing data

Hi

i was running on a 1.2.3 RC2 upgrade, it was working fine, it was storing data long term, but i cleared out my pfsense and redid it(with restore of config.xml, exc packages) reinstalled the packages, and now vnstat only seems to hold stats for a few hours, some interfaces it can be right down to 2 hours?

any idea whats going on, or how i can fix it?
