      Im running pfsense 1.2 embedded and looking for a way to shape two interfaces.

      I have two LANs and 1 WAN

      Id like to do the following:

      • limit and shape bandwidth on LAN
      • shape bandwidth on OPT1

      Both are routed out to WAN.  Is this possible with pfsense 1.2, I cannot see any obvious ways to accomplish this in the UI.

      TIA

        My current work around is connecting a DD WRT to the LAN to provide shaping on that end, but it seems simpler to provide it all on one box if possible.  With this work around I could still flood the network if the LAN were to utilize their cap. and the OPT1 interface has no idea about this..

          so the rule maybe theese

          WAN->LAN Pro=* source=* dest=LAN-NET Port:xx-zz queue=q1down/q1up
          LAN->WAN Pro=* source=LAN-NET dest=* Port:xx-zz queue=q1up/q1down
          WAN->OPT1 Pro=* source=* dest=OPT1-NET Port:xx-zz queue=q2down/q2up
          OPT1->WAN Pro=* source=OPT1-NET dest=* Port:xx-zz queue=q2up/q2down

            Would this work between two interfaces?  I heard shaping more than two interfaces will not work in 1.2.x

              well, i dunno…. at least it worked for me for dual wan.
              maybe u can give it a shot first, rather than waiting 2.0....

                I encountered this problem too, all traffic isn't limited to the queue correctly.
                Can i do that? and how to do? thanks!
