SquidGuard, Personalize redirect page
-
Hi,
I'm using pfSense with Squid & SquidGuard. It works great. what I would like to do is to modify the page returned if you match a filtered page.
With the int err message, you got the category of blocked page. I would like to know if there is a way to put automaticaly this category on an external error webpage. I would like to do that in order to put the page in french with a big red banner say "Access denied" (in french of course!) ;)Thks for help

Check the error page.Can remember the name. It's like "ext url redirect" or something.

Go to:
Services–>Proxy filter-->Default (tab).
Set 'Redirect mode' to 'Ext url found (enter URL).'
Type the external URL of the file you wish to use as your message screen into the 'Redirect info' box.
I used the alert file I made for HAVP and merely added a background from the 'Squid Artwork' section. Direct link: http://www.squid-cache.org/Artwork/
My alert page looks like this:

Thanks for your message but you don't took back the error category of the filtering. I would like to keep this information in order to help users when they ask for support.
