2.0 dashboard in 1.2.3?

Looking at this on a virtualbox install of 2.0, I am very impressed.  I note there is a 2.0 dashboard package for 1.2 that says "cannot be uninstalled".  Is this reasonably safe for me to install on my 1.2.3 box?

It's fine. It can't be "uninstalled" in the traditional sense, but if you remove the package and then perform a firmware update it will be gone.
