        Your source shouldn't be WAN address on the WAN rule. That means you are only allowing traffic sourced from your own WAN interface. Change it to any if anyone should be able to get to it from the Internet.

          Thanks for that BlakIII

          Hasn't made much difference I'm afraid. Got rid of a lot of log entries but the result is still a no go.
          Any more ideas?

            In your setup, you are only forwarding port 5000 to port 746 on the inside, is that the only port you wanted to forward?
