      Can anybody help me with this?

      I've found this: http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,2264.0.html

      2009/10/23 11:50:52| WARNING: All dnsserver processes are busy.
      2009/10/23 11:50:52| WARNING: up to 5 pending requests queued

      2009/10/23 11:50:53| dnsSubmit: queue overload, rejecting img455.imageshack.us

      My problem is where/how exactly do I set dns_children ?

        Got it! ;) google is my friend…. ::)

        Anyway, here's what I've done:

        go to /usr/local/pkg and edit squid.inc

        serch for: maximum_object_size_in_memory 32 KB

        enter dns_children 32 or 15 or whatever right after the last line of that block you've just found.

        press save at webgui

        Done!

          After this changes I start getting this error:

          2009/10/23 15:16:26| WARNING! Your cache is running out of filedescriptors
          2009/10/23 15:16:42| WARNING! Your cache is running out of filedescriptors

          I've googled it and I already have the changes in loader.conf.

          any ideias?

              might re occur.
              edit /boot/loader.conf
              kern.maxfilesperproc=65536
              kern.maxfiles=262144

              file descriptors will become 65536
