Gotta buy da love (Help)
-
Ok, I've been messing with pfsense and vyatta with openvpn on them for weeks
and getting nowhere so far. A couple of people have offered to help but sadly,
they keep leaving me hanging with incomplete setups and I need to start over
each time. I'm learning nothing at this point.I would welcome some consulting help, someone who could set this up for me
once and for all.My application is very simple. It is to be used by remotes who need access to
my phone system on the LAN. The only ports required are SIP/RTP, no other LAN
access is needed.I would prefer using pfsense because it has the firewall built in which means
the server could be self contained, stand alone, a good solution for me.Better would be if I could use vyatta/openvpn but I've not had enough hands on
time with vyatta to understand the CLI method of setting things up. On the
vyatta box, I would use webmin to manage this. Not sure what else to add but willing to give you what ever info you need so
that I can finally see this work. Thanks much.

That's exactly why the pfSense team has set up the commercial support offering. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them. . .
Here's how to find them:

Heading over there right now. Though, I've made some headway today but this might be a better option.

I'd be glad to help you one on one if you purchase support. There is also a lot of detailed info on OpenVPN in the book.
