      Hi,

I have some Problems setting up my OPT1 Network.
      I use pfsense in VMWARE.

WAN ist set 192.168.2.25 /24 which is in the subnet of my Computer (My Computers IP is 192.168.2.3)
Lan Adapter is set to 192.168.210.1 /24
I have a Windows Server 2008 in Vmware  (Servers IP: 192.168.210.100)
There i can open the Web Interface.
I have set firewall rules allowing all on the OPT1 and LAN Interface.
But when I start my second Server 2008, which has the IP 192.168.118.100 I cant ping the OPT1 Adapter (192.168.118.1)

      ping 192.168.118.1

Answer from 192.168.118.100: Host not reachable

      My Configuration:

      LAN: 192.168.210.100 /24
      WAN:192.168.2.25 /24 and Gateway: 192.168.2.1
OPT1:192.168.118.100 /24 and Gateway is empty

      My DSL Router is 192.168.2.1
      My Computer is 192.168.2.3
OPT1 is set to VMNET3 in VMWARE
LAN is set to VMNET2 in VMWARE
      WAN is set to bridged

      thanks for help

        I'm confused.
Is the pfSense OPT IP 192.168.118.1 or 192.168.118.100 ? Or has the server this IP?

          Thanks for replying.
          The Problem is solved.
After an reinstallation I was able to add another l-Adapter (le0,le1,le2).
In my old installation (VMWARE Download from pfsense.com) the Name of the adapter was em0

          Now I'm happy  ;D
