Squid-package optimizations
-
Squid works right with several optimizations in sysctl.conf and loader.conf
After every update this things are lost. I'm getting back this doing a backup of this files and restoring after every update.
Is it possible to put a defined set of settings into the package, so after a new install this hings are back in their places?
It would satisfy after a initial install to ged rid of poor performance of squid. -
yap there's always a way.
hint: config.xml -
oookey, but I don't know the right way to settle my settings in this file. Nop, killing the config.xml to get somewhen a config.xml, which doesn't kill my box directly and straight on will last too much time. I don't know how to do it.
For this and further installations would be nice to have this settings in the squid-package, without to have to edit manually somewhere here and somewhat there.
