Snort

Hi all,
My snort can't work at all. Here is the error message: "Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /usr/local/pkg/snort/snort.inc on line 445"
I tried to reinstall the package or to uninstall it but it seems to hang up.
Anyone could help? is there an other way to uninstall it

Have you downloaded the rules?

No, I can't! the error appears as soon as I tried to open snort.
I just can see it's installed in service but cannot be launched.
