Squid IP whitelist help
-
Hi!
I'm running PFsense version 1.2.2
I'm trying to whitelist an IP '123.456.789.01'
I add this to Destinations, set the ACL to 'white' in ruleset (and also in Defaults) and then click Apply.
Still I try to access this page I get our default 'blocked' page for other addresses. This is the block event in the log: "Blocked/in-addr"
Any thoughts? Also, some websites that we use for work have IP references in them. Presently these are blocked, even though we have unchecked 'Not to allow IP addresses in URL' in Default. A bug?
Our squid package version is 1.3-2 and SquidGuard 2.6.21_10.
Cheers for any help/thoughts.

If you did it by the book, probably you just need some time to see the changes. Basically it depends on if your squid is caching pages and so. You can try to erase cache, or reboot the server if you are hurried. Take a look at the post below ;).
