I'm trying to install pfsense 1.2.3 on my MSI IM-945GSE-A. I'm using a cheap usb keyboard, the board has no ps2 port. But i can't get it to work? The keyboard is dead when pfsense ask me if i want to set up VLANs now.?

The keyboard works in another computer?

Another device (e.g. memory stick) works in the same USB port?

The BIOS enables PS/2 emulation of a USB keyboard? (I'd expect that of a system with no PS/2 keyboard port).

While keyboard is plugged in the Caps Lock and/or Num Lock indicators light as the appropriate keys are pressed?

The keyboard is plugged in when the computer is powered on?

on this board I had to turn down the number of usb ports i was using in the bios and that helped try 4 or 6
