After about 5 hours I finally got pfSense to install and talk to the network. The only issue I can't clear up is this error that pops up when I try to boot in the normal mode. I re-formated the disk in OSX, and chose the quick/easy install when installing PFsense on the 80gb IDE drive.

The system will boot if I select safe mode and then it quickly flashes something like trying to load UFS partition and then continues onward. I would like to be able to bootup without doing this so I dont need a monitor or keyboard attached.

I followed all the steps in the boot issue wiki and cannot crack this one. Should I try and manually partition the drive to a certain GB? (and how much will I need with packages?)

"partition 1 does not start on a track boundary"
"partition 1 does not end on a track boundary"

      Any ideas ?
