SQUID and SQUIDGUAR wont start after updating

Everything was running smoothly until i decoded to update to squid 2.7.8_1 on PF 1.2.3r
After that it wont start anymore so Qwuid guard is also off
Anny help would be gratly appreciated

Quick fix, i have re installed squidGuard… and it is fine.
Very strange and if a solution exist, jet me know!

same here - reinstalling hasn't helped (yet!)
edit: squidguard also refuses to start, and it won't uninstall :(
edit: after many attempts & reboots, squidgaurd uninstalled OK - reinstall squid OK - reinstall squidguard OK.
All services seem to be running OK.
