It's working fine for me on the "Fri Jan 22 08:25:58 EST 2010" build.

I can remove, rearrange, save, etc.

What browser are you using? And also, was this a fresh 2.0 install or an upgrade from 1.2.x that had the dashboard package installed?

Firefox 3.7a1pre and it was an upgrade from 1.2.3. I upgraded when I saw that 2.0 was "beta" and no, I did not have the dashboard package installed in 1.2.3. I'm using Firefox 3.7a1pre because I'm part of the Firefox development process.

I don't see any errors in the system logs nor do I see anything in the Firefox error console except for some warnings about dropped declarations in the all.css.

        Thanks.

It looks like this might be fixed in the latest February snapshots. All of my widgets are where they are supposed to be now. :)

And now it's not working again, with today's snapshot.  All of my widgets were where I wanted them, until I went to add another widget. When I clicked save settings, it disappears.

            Before I click Save:

            After I click Save:

I don't see anything in the Firefox error console, and I don't see anything in the system logs either.

I've seen some problems with widgets disappearing, or ending up with a different one than what I added on occasion with at least one of them, but haven't had time to mess with it and find specific scenarios and steps to replicate. If you know of some specific steps that will reliably replicate problems, they would be appreciated.

I have a hunch that many of these weird issues will be solved by this commit I just made:

                https://rcs.pfsense.org/projects/pfsense/repos/mainline/commits/e1135f7bc689d6be552382c21e581d4a63409cae

If anyone still has issues, test with the next available snapshot.

The bug I found cause all kinds of weirdness with the next widget after the Services Status widget.

                • If it was a closed widget, it would show up.
                • If it was a widget such as the firewall logs one, it would disappear, or it also caused one of them to end up blank at some point.
                • If the Services Status widget was second to last, and you moved it to the last position, and there was a closed widget just after it in the config, the closed widget would just appear.

etc, etc, etc. Very fun bug.

I have my Dashboard setup like so:

                  System Information                 Interfaces

                  Gateway

                  Services Status

                  CPU Graphs

If I move Services Status above Gateway, hit Save Settings, then my CPU Graphs disappears.

If I move Gateway back above Services Status, hit Save Settings, then my CPU Graphs appears again.

This is with the 2/15 1944 snapshot.

Can you do a gitsync and try again? I'm not sure if that snap would have the fix or not:

Thanks for the fix. I just upgraded to the latest Feb16 snapshot and all of my widgets came up. :)
