I've built and installed 4 version 1.2.3-Release routers in the past two weeks. Today I noticed differences under 'Dagnostics: System logs: Firewall' between half the units I installed. Two have 'Last 50 firewall log entries. (Switch to dynamic view)' and the other two have 'Normal View | Dynamic View | Summary View'. At first I thought two of them had auto updated or something, checked and both stated under firmware '..latest version'

The ONLY difference I can find is two of them under Status:System show

      1.2.3-RELEASE
built on Sun Dec 6 23:38:21 EST 2009
      FreeBSD 7.2-RELEASE-p5 i386

      the others:

      1.2.3-RELEASE
built on Sun Dec 6 23:21:36 EST 2009

Is this normal for them to release slightly different versions without changing the version number? If so that worries me.

Odd. Are they both using the same platform?

The updated ones may have carried over files from the older version, but should have updated all core files. The update kernels are built separately from the ones that go onto the ISOs.

The firewall logs are also updated by the Dashboard package, you may have installed that in some or all of the boxes.
