      exact same here for me on the pfSense-2.0-BETA1-1g-20100309-0142-nanobsd-upgrade.img.gz as well as the traffic shaper but for that shaper issue there is a fix committed but isnt on the 9th march nanobsd update image so traffic shaper will be solved in newer snapshots but i hope this pppoe also gets fixed.

          plz wait till some snapshot is generated after the 9th so i can update to that which doesnt have the traffic shaper problem so i can then use that and can even provide the log, mayb some1 else can send in the log if they got it active on their box

            I somehow managed to miss this part when switching to mpd5 on mainline.

            Either wait new snapshots or add this manually.

                even with the latest snapshot im not able to connect and 2 things seem wierd which never used to be like this beofore, firstly the part in the console i dont have password protect enabled then y does it endup in login and password when bootup is complete?

                and second issue is regarding pppoe which doesnt connect and systemlog shows the stff below

                  and the worst part is the below stuff keeps flooding the systemlog even if vr1 is up or down which is for the WAN

                            i tried those 2 entries manually but after reboot the console started giving a lot of error related to unable to get interface ip etc so i guess ill wait for the next snapshot and try that out.

                              i tried witht he patch but still no luck, unplugging the WAN cable and replugging gives one extra line in log that says file not found so mayb that can help solve this issue

                                the below 2 lines r the cause i guess for not being able to conenc to pppoe

                                    When trying to apply settings for wan connection, there is the following written in the logs

                                      I can confirm the same problem here with alix and pppoe.
                                      For me the Snapshot from 7. March is working but any newer is not.
                                      The last I tried was Snapshot from 13. of March.

                                            xbipin you are on wrong sources.
                                            You are trying to start mpd4 which would not start with the config that is now.
                                            You need to start mpd5 not sure why it tries to start mpd4 for you!?
