Is it safe to use a Firebox x700 yet?

Since I now realise just how much overkill a dual-socket AMD Opteron server would be for a firewall, I now need to know whether it is worth it to use a Firebox x700 running the latest release of pfSense. It would not be a good idea to have a unit that locks up whenever I access the WebGUI however, which I can see is a problem faced by quite a few x700 converters at the start. Is the x700 stable enough to be used as a firewall yet?

As of 1.2.3 a fresh install still gives watchguard errors, to be honest though I haven't done a whole bunch of research to see if there is a fix but with the config that I am running I am still getting timeout errors when connected to the webinterface

I would say it is. I've got it running at a office of about 15 machines with no problems. Running squid, squid proxy on it as well.

I tend to find that as long as you don't access the WebGUI, pfsense is OK on watchguard hardware.
Otherwise it just throws lots of watchdog timeout errors…

I run an x500, and I have massive issues with the Web Interface crashing the whole unit otherwise its fine like the guy above said.
