DHCP server handing out broadcast addr
-
As the title…
I set up pfSense LAN as 192.168.0.1/27. DHCP server lists valid range as 192.168.0.0 - 192.168.0.31 and will happily hand out 192.168.0.31 via DHCP.
Cause me to call Bill all sorts of nasty names until I figured that out :DThanks for the great app btw! :)

The range is configurable at services>dhcp server. Just exclude the broadcast IP from the range and you'll be fine.

Just a follow up question. I setup my LAN interface 192.168.1.0/23 and the available range would be 192.168.0.1 - 192.168.1.254 how can i exclude then the 192.168.0.255 and 192.168.1.0 ip addresses? Thanks.

Specify the range accordingly. You don't specify a subnet as range but a starting and end IP for the range.
