      I would like to know if anyone else is testing snort …And if you are getting it to work what setting are you using .I tryed it and i could not get snort to stay working .

        Do you mean snort v2.8.5.3, the 1.20 package?  What version of pfsense are you using?
        I've been using the 1.19 package (have not tried todays 1.20 version) on pfsense 1.2.3.release and it works great.
