What do these mean? [Updated - Fixed]

Hello,
I'm having a problem with high ping times and restarted the system yesterday. I noticed these statements in the systems log file.
Apr 15 14:21:08 login: login on ttyv0 as root (is this normal for restarting the system? I do have a monitor attached)
kernel: mpt0: QUEUE FULL EVENT: Bus 0x00 Target 0x01 Depth 122 (I am seeing a lot of these and read they are related to a problem with RAID? Is there a resolution, or would it be better to install on a single disk instead of RAID?)
Thanks for your time.

The login is normal, as ttyv0 is the console. Any time you press enter on the console menu without selecting an option it will log out and back in, and cause another such log entry to appear.
mpt0 is your RAID controller, if it's giving you errors, they should definitely be investigated. I'm not sure if there are any mpt raid utils for FreeBSD offhand, though there may be a package out there for them. If you have a RAID BIOS, you may want to reboot it and check there.

would it be better to install on a single disk instead of RAID
depends on why you are using RAID.

Okay, thanks.
I don't really need RAID. It's a Dell R300. Simple is better.
Thanks again fellas.

Hi Guys,
Remember this error I stated earlier? [kernel: mpt0: QUEUE FULL EVENT: Bus 0x00 Target 0x01 Depth 122]
This is for the DELL R300 Server with LSI MPTBIOS enabled for both OS and BIOS.
Am not sure why, but the error as reported turns out to be a faulty on-board gigabit Ethernet port, bge0, which was assigned to WAN.
The error is no longer reported when WAN connected to em0, intel server pci-x ethernet card.
…in case anyone else is searching for this error, this represents one possibility.
