Authentication with active directory groups in V2?

Hello,

I've read somewhere that one of the version 2 features is the following: "You can even define groups in your directory and assign rights in pfSense to those groups."

Will this work with Windows 2008 domains?  Is there a way to do this in version 1.2.3 as well or do we have to wait for version 2?

Yes it works with 2k8 domains, no it can't be done in 1.2.3.

I downloaded and installed the current 2.0 snapshot. Can I test this functionality with the current release? I would love some hints on how to set this up  :D
