1.2.2 full installation image.

Hi,
I'm having a problem installing full version of 1.2.2 on my Soekris net 5501 board with sata drive. I was wondering if I can find somwhere an image of the freshly installed 1.2.2 full version on the net? I could then just restore the image to my hdd and start from there instead of doing a full install.
Any hints greatly appreciated!

You can use one of the embedded images on your hard drive, that worked for me. When that works upgrade it to a full version via console or web interface. However you won't be able to use the full disk capacity. I had this running on a ide drive including the freeproxy package.
If this is not working there might be an issue with the boot sequence or the hd is not recognized by the hardware.When I replaced the hard drive later by a solid state model I just hooked it up in a different pc and ran the full install from CD, restored the configuration and that is running for several months without any problems now.

Why do you want to use 1.2.2?
This is outdated.
The current version is 1.2.3. -

I have no problem installing 1.2.3 from my laptop cause the installer will not ask for the 2 interfaces like it has a place in 1.2.2. I just simply run out of hardware which will have 2 nic's and connectivity with 2,5 sata drives. That is causing me problems.
Not beeing able to use full capacity of my hdd (160 Gb) is discouraging :(
I choosed 1.2.2 because I heard that QoS in 1.2.3 have some issues. People were complaining about higher pings and such. It's one of the features I would like to take a full advantage of.
Maybe there is a way to downgrade from 1.2.3 to 1.2.2 via console or web interface?

No offense, but I don't think you will get a lot of free troubleshooting with installing an old, obsolete release for a problem which is only theoretical in your case.

You can even take the "in your case" part out, where ever that info is coming from is wrong - QoS hasn't changed since before 1.2.1 release, same config code in 1.2.2 and 1.2.3, no diff aside from the minor FreeBSD version change which didn't change things related to that.
To install on something with less than 2 NICs, just type "exit" at the prompt to assign LAN.
