Installer problem

I have noticed that the latest build have a screwed up installer that does not run .Anyone else having the same problems .Had to install an april build and that worked fine so far .

Nobody is having the same problem .I tryed the last build and same thing on a different machine .Plus there is 1's in places in the advanced settings there is non of that before .I am sticking with this old build .

There was quite a bit of work going on over the weekend with the installer, it's possible not many people have actually tried it yet. (I haven't)
As for the advanced settings having "1's" I'm not sure what you're talking about, perhaps if you could take a screencap it would help.
That's part of the fun of testing out a beta release :)

The installer gets stuck on "waiting for backend" just after the installer starts. I first tried with letting the boot continue to the interface assigment and then selecting 99 from the menu, I also tried skipping the live cd setup and selected "I" at the prompt, neither worked. This is with the latest live cd image

I get the same when I try it in a VM. I opened a ticket for it:

sullrich fixed the installer and it should work again on the next new snapshot.
